Would the above be fair game to be part of vtt.js?

@RickEyre any thoughts on this?
I have most of the work currently in videojs (in a pr), but I'm thinking of either pulling it out of videojs core, either into a separate repo or maybe as part of vtt.js.

Sorry! I thought I had responded to this :-/. Yeah, it would be great to have these shims in this repo as well. We were planning on that eventually, but haven't had time to do it.

No worries.
I currently have most of that implemented in vjs. Moving them here would be nice. Though, we'd need to figure out a build process for both videojs and vtt.js that meets both our needs.
